Q. I have not received my 50/50 tickets after making my online purchase?

Please make sure to check your junk folder in your email settings and verify your tickets have not gone there.  If you still cannot find your tickets, please reach out to to verify if your ticket purchase went through.

Q. How does Wellspring Niagara’s Dream 50/50 draw work?

The 50/50 draw, administered by Wellspring Niagara, is a raffle licensed by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) where individuals purchase ticket(s) for the opportunity to win 50% of the total money raised through the sale of 50/50 tickets.

Q. Where does the other 50% of the proceeds raised go?

The other 50% of the proceeds raised go towards funding Wellspring Niagara’s support programs for patients, caregivers, and families living with cancer in Niagara.  Our programs are offered FREE of charge to our members and we receive no government funding. Q. Who is eligible to buy 50/50 draw tickets?

If you meet the following criteria, you are eligible to purchase 50/50 draw tickets:

·        Must be 18 years of age or older at the time of purchase

·        Must be located in the Province of Ontario at time of purchase

·        Must not be one of the following:

o Full-time, part-time, or student employee of Wellspring Niagara, currently paid by Wellspring Niagara or on unpaid leave

o Executors of the Wellspring Niagara Board of Directors including Chair, Co-Chair, Treasurer and Secretary;

o An employee of the Alcohol Gaming Commission of Ontario

o An employees of the supplier of the 50/50 System who are involved with the development and/or support of the 50/50 System


Note: Prior to the purchase of a ticket online, you will be required to verify your eligibility and that the information is complete and accurate.

Q. Can I play more than once in a game?

Yes. You can purchase more than one ticket per event or game.

Q. What are the odds of winning?

The odds of winning the prize are based on the number of tickets sold.

Q. Do I have better odds online?

Your odds of winning do not change based on the manner in which you purchase your Catch the Ace draw ticket; online and in-venue sales have the same odds of winning. The odds of winning the prize are based on the number of tickets sold.

Q. How is the winning number drawn?

A unique winning number is randomly generated and issued by the electronic 50/50 system out of the numbers purchased (in-venue and online) for that particular draw. The mechanism for selecting the winning number is a computer-based random number generator that has been certified by the AGCO.

Q. When is the winning number drawn and posted?

50/50 Ticket Sales close at 4pm on the last day announced for the draw. Once the winning 50/50 number has been drawn and posted, you can find it and the prize amount:

Q. How do I claim my prize?

Wellspring Niagara may award a prize to the bearer of a winning ticket. Wellspring Niagara reserves the right to satisfy itself that a person claiming a prize is entitled, and will remain entitled, to such prize as the lawful bearer of a winning ticket.  The winner may claim their prize by contacting Wellspring Niagara at: (905) 684-7619 or by email at:  The ticket may then be brought at Wellspring at 50 Wellspring Way in Fonthill, ON at an agreed upon time for ticket verification.


Upon presenting a winning ticket, the winner must:

(i) Issue (2) pieces of ID proving their age to be over 18;

(ii) Completely fill out the Prize Claim Form Checklist issued by a Wellspring Niagara Foundation staff member; and

(iii) Sign his/her name on the Winning Ticket.

Each winner acknowledges that Wellspring Niagara may, at any time (and from time to time), during the prize claim process, require certain personal information from the winner and that the collection of such information (including, in certain circumstances, the winner's Social Insurance Number) is necessary to the proper administration. Any personal information is collected is intended to be used for following principal purposes: to comply with legal and audit requirements, for announcing winners, awarding prizes, disclosure of insider wins for public scrutiny, and the posting of prize wins on the Wellspring Niagara website for an extended period of time, and otherwise in accordance with the Wellspring Niagara prize claim policy and any successors or replacement thereof, and for Wellspring Niagara internal business purposes. Each winner further acknowledges that any failure by the winner to provide Wellspring Niagara with such information may prevent Wellspring Niagara from paying or awarding all or part of the prize in the manner contemplated by the prize structure. Wellspring Niagara shall not be responsible for determining any individual's entitlement to all or a part of a prize won on a ticket purchased by or issued to a group

The Foundation reserves the right to satisfy itself as the validity of any purported Ticket including without limitation a purported Winning Ticket by means of authentication tests declare a purported Ticket void where the presented document does not pass such authentication tests.

Prizes will be paid by cheque payable to the Winner.  Neither a prize (or portion thereof), nor any entitlement or payment relating to it, may be assigned, transferred, sold, loaned, leased, rented, pledged, mortgaged or hypothecated, by any winner.

The Foundation will not and is not responsible for providing financial or tax advice to the Winner.

The Foundation will not award a prize for tickets which are void unless the Foundation, in it’s discretion, deems it appropriate to do so. Tickets are void if lost, stolen, unissued, illegible, mutilated, damaged, altered, counterfeited or forged, miscut, misregistered, defective, misprinted, cancelled, produced in error and not recorded in the on-line system, incomplete, not paid for, destroyed or issued, acquired or presented , in, or upon, violation of these Rules, or the Game Conditions. Void tickets are the property of the Foundation.

In the event that a Ticket which is purchased or issued is void, or deemed to be void, the Foundation may replace the voided Ticket with a replacement Ticket with a new set of Numbers.

In the event that no winner comes forward, the winning stub will kept in a safe and held for 6 months. After that time period has elapsed the prize will be donated to a charity other than Wellspring Niagara, with the approval of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).

Q. What currency is the prize money paid in?

All transactions and winnings are paid in Canadian Dollars. Prize will be paid by cheque payable to the winner.

Q. When can I expect to receive my winnings?

Prize winnings will be paid by cheque within 30 days of the completion of the claim process.

Q. Do I need to live in Ontario to play?

You do not need to live in the province of Ontario to purchase a 50/50 ticket but you do need to be physically located within the province of Ontario at the time of purchase of your online 50/50 Ace ticket to be eligible to play.

Q. How can I pay for my online 50/50 ticket?

Our online 50/50 website accepts the following payment types: Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.

Q. I cannot access  What should I do?

Per AGCO regulations – please be advised that you must be located within the province of Ontario at the time of your purchase. Your device’s locations services must be turned on to verify your location prior to entry to the online 50/50 sales platform. Users must also agree to all Terms and Conditions outlined.

Q. I purchased a 50/50 ticket but did not get my numbers. What should I do?

If you purchased your 50/50 ticket but did not receive your numbers, please check your junk or spam folders in the event it was flagged by your email provider. If you still do not have your 50/50 ticket, contact and our support staff will re-send your raffle numbers (some verification will be required). If your transaction completed successfully, your numbers will still be part of the draw.

Q. Why does require my location and/or why am I receiving the following prompt: Ex " would like to use your current location?"

Your current location is required to confirm eligibility. The raffle will be offered throughout the Province of Ontario (the "Raffle Area"). Void outside the raffle Area and where prohibited by law, rule, or regulation.

Q. What if I already selected "Don't Allow"?

Reloading the page should cause you to be prompted to share your location again. If you have specified that you never want to share your location, you will need to go into your settings to allow. See below for instructions.

Q. What if I receive the following prompt: "You must allow your browser to share your location to purchase tickets, please click "OK" to reload this page, then be sure to allow your browser to share your location to share your location when prompted"? The browser should reload the page and ask you to share location upon loading.
Note: In some browsers, the popup may say "close" instead of "OK"

Q. I entered the incorrect email and did not print my tickets, how can I get my tickets resent?

Please go to the Contact page and request that the raffle Manager email you your tickets.

Q: What if I cannot purchase tickets on due to Location issues?

You may have told your browser to never share your location. You need to change that setting to allow sale.



Q. When I am trying to process a transaction it is not working? What can I do?


Please remember that when you are filling in the personal information at the checkout page the address you input must match the address of the Credit Card that will be used for the transaction. Please ensure all fields are inputted correctly.


Q. The site is not loading properly, and I am not able to get to the checkout page, What can I do?

iOS Mobile devices
1.    Go to the Settings App.
2.    Go to ‘Privacy’.
3.    Go into ‘Location Services’.
4.    Ensure ‘Location Services’ are on.
5.    Scroll down and click ‘Safari Websites’.
6.    Make sure that Allow Location Access is set to "While Using the App."
Chrome has the same setting if you are using that instead.
MacOS Desktop
Check if Location Services is turned on
1.    Open ‘System Preferences’
2.    Select ‘Security & Privacy’
3.    Select ‘Privacy’ tab
4.    Ensure ‘Location Services’ is checked
5.    If it is not checked click the lock icon in bottom right corner of that window to make changes
6.    Enter in your Username and password
7.    Check The ‘Enable Location Services’ checkbox
8.    If it is checked look at the list of allowed applications and make sure the web browser, you are using is also checked. Note that Chrome will not show up here, but Safari and Firefox will
